About This Farm Project

The Dry Season Onion Farm Project is part of Pamoja Agro’s agricultural investment plan focused on high-demand food crops with strong market value. Onion is widely consumed across Nigeria and has consistent demand from households, food vendors, restaurants, produce traders, and bulk buyers.

This project will run during the dry season, typically between November and May, which is one of the most suitable periods for onion farming. Dry season cultivation allows better irrigation control, reduces the risk of excess rainfall damage, and supports better crop management and harvesting conditions.

The project will cover the full onion farming cycle, including land preparation, seedling purchase, nursery management, transplanting, irrigation support, fertilizer application, labour, farm monitoring, harvesting, sorting, bagging, storage, and market sales.

Investor funds will be used to finance the production process while Pamoja Agro manages the farm operations from start to finish. At maturity, the onions will be harvested and sold through local markets, wholesale buyers, and Pamoja Agro’s produce distribution network.

At the end of the investment period, investors will receive their original capital back, along with the agreed profit return from the project.
